DIED
RICE -- At his residence in Paint township, Madison county, O., June 18, 1885, Nathan C. Rice, aged 46 years.
Deceased was taken sick about the 20th o December last and from that time until his release by death, suffered a painful illness. He was a good husband, kind neighbor, and highly respected by all, as was evinced by the large attendance at his funeral. He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his loss. The funeral services took place from the M. E. Church in Newport on Friday at half-past two o'clock P.M., Rev. J. A. Ewalt officiating. Interment was had in the Paint township Cemetery.
