HERBERT COVERT OBITUARY
Herbert E. "Casey" Covert, Jr. 74 of London, died Monday, Feb. 28, 1994 at 11:05 a.m. in Madison County Hospital.
Born on July 26, 1919 in Syracuse, Ohio, he was the son of Herbert E. and Martha (Malone) Covert, Sr.
He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during WW II. He was a member of the London Aerie No. 950 Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Madison Memorial Post No. 105, American Legion, London, and the H.V. Christopher Post No. 1176 VFW London.
Survived by daughter Sharon Helena Wolfe of Gladstone, Ore; sons and daughter-in-law, Stanley H. and Loretta Covert or West Jefferson, Scott H. Covert of Centerburg; sister Sara Young; brothers, Clyde Covert and Gerald Covert; grandchildren, David Covert, Heidi and Alyssa Wolfe, Joshua Freeman and Sean Serafini; several nieces and nephews.
The family invites friends to call at the RADER-LYNCH AND DODDS FUNERAL HOME, London, from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday with the Rev. Jay Decker officiating. Internment will be in Kirkwood.
