From Madison Democrat 50th Anniversary
Published by the Madison Democrat, 1908

Samuel P. Wilson

This is one of the younger members of the bar who has already gained distinction in the profession. He is a native of the county and was born in 1868. His early education was obtained in the public schools. He attended the law school at Ada, graduating in 1893, and being admitted to practice. He opened an office in London and ever since been here. His practice is growing and he is regarded by all who know him as a lawyer of ability. Mr. Wilson taught school some years before deciding upon the law and was an efficient as well as popular instructor. He takes a keen interest in the affairs of the city and county and is quick to lend his aid or encouragement to anything that will advance them.
