P. H. Roberts

P. H. Roberts

P. H. Roberts was born in Pike county, Ohio, and came to Madison county, in 1868, and settled in Paint township. Mr. Roberts has been a successful farmer and stock dealer, and by his industry and strict economy has accumulated a large amount of property.

He has always been identified with the best interests of his community, and though a man of much business he has found time to take a part in local politics. He is an ardent Republican. Mr. Roberts has been twice elected by his party to the office of Justice of the Peace, which position he still holds, with credit to himself and with entire satisfaction to the public. He still carries on farming and stock raising, giving his personal attention to his business. He now resides in the village of Newport.
